Five things you need to own NOW

Mark Morrisson sang about them in the 80s and now the time has rolled around for the mac to hit the spotlight again. We’re getting all sofisticated on Gimmefashion this week with the ever classic macintosh.

the macintosh

The mac is a pretty masculine style of coat, so any chance to add in an oh so now ruffle is gratefully received. This double breasted coat is the perfect cover up for the Spring months. Its belted too for a cinched in waist.

the skirt

The pleated skirt is sill hanging around for another season. Tricky to style you are better off pairing it with a tight fitting streamlined top or at the very least a jumper tucked in.  The length of this skirt is ankle skimming with a flattering waistline. We’re wild about it!

the top

Everyone needs a basic black jumper. This knit from Penneys has some cute eyelet details on the sleeves to show a glimpse of those perfectly toned arms of yours. Plus its a total bargain at €14.

the watch

Modern living has made the wrist watch redundant in many ways, with all us addicts glued to our smart phones for guidance on every aspect of our lives, including the time. However, a good timepiece is an investment and can totally pull a look together. Olivia Burton combines vintage inspirations and catwalk trends to create a range of cute watches. This blush pink/ tan watch is lovely.

the shoes

Despite their appearance mules are often quite uncomfortable due to lack of support. These ones however come right up to the bridge and are quite easy to wear.
